About me

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor.

This means that I draw on a range of therapeutic methods to tailor my approach to your unique needs and circumstances. Some modalities that I often draw from include relational, person-centred, psychodynamic, body psychotherapy, attachment theory, trauma informed theories and Jungian ideas. You can find more information about these on my Approach page.

I studied for my professional qualifications at the Minster Centre, which is one of the most established and respected training institutions in Europe: their courses meet high academic and professional standards that are validated by the main professional bodies: the UKCP and BACP.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I studied Experimental Psychology, graduating with a first class degree from the University of Bristol and then working as a Business Psychologist for the following ten years.

What kind of things can I help with?

People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons and you may not necessarily have a clear idea of what you are seeking help for. However here are some common issues that I have experience in working with:

Anxiety, panic attacks, dissociation, anger management, relationship issues, communication issues, self-esteem, neurodivergence, abuse, transitional ages, work related stress, depression, gender related issues, sexual trauma, loss and bereavement, childhood trauma, intrusive thoughts, discrimination, eco-anxiety, infertility and parenting, family breakdowns and loneliness.

What specialised training have I completed?

  • Death and Bereavement
